If I get something called “Trappey’s Red Devil Cayenne Pepper Sauce”, I’m expecting it to hurt some. We all know that the devil runs a place with a nasty reputation for a high heat index, so you think the Red Devil sauce is going to be hot, too. But the devil is bad, and the devil is crafty. Sauce named for him is going to trick you. Not even a hint of flame on my tongue. I literally poured this stuff so thick over a bowl of pasta that it was like spaghetti sauce, and I couldn’t distinguish any sensation of spicy heat at all. Dropped a bunch of jalapenos into the bowl to give it the kick I was looking for.

The trouble all starts with the name Trappey. Way too close to "Pappy" to take seriously. Obviously they had to come up with something more sinister. Overstretched a bit methinks.
Not to mention the fact that the predominant flavor is vinegar. Bleh.
Not only is the predominant flavor vinegar, the predominant ingredient is vinegar. I love vinegar, but hot sauce without heat, I cannot abide.
False advertising! Lawsuit!
